The Volkswagen dealerships are offering discounts on the following Santana variants: P15,000 off on the 1.5 MPI AT SE; P66,000 off on the 1.4 MPI MT, and; P90,000 off on the 1.5 MPI AT S. The Lavida 1.4 TSI DSG SE will be offered with an P85,000 discount.
The Santana—powered either by 1.4-liter Multi-Point Injection (MPI) 4-cylinder petrol engine or 1.5-liter, 4-cylinder, in-line petrol engine with BlueMotion Technology—is to be ideal first Volkswagen sedan for young families, young professionals, and for frontliners who need to go on in-city and out-of-town trips.
With the longest wheelbase in its class, the Santana’s generous interior space allows for proper physical distancing among occupants.
On the other hand, the Lavida—fitted with a 1.4-liter, 4-cylinder Turbo Fuel-Injected petrol engine with BlueMotion Technology— is meant for corporate managers who value the safety and comfort of every member of their families, yet still seek that power and passion in their drive both behind the wheel and their office desks.
Aside from the discounts, these vehicles have a comprehensive warranty coverage, because it has a three years or 100,000-km general warranty (whichever comes first), the periodic maintenance service (PMS) interval schedule is also structured for its owners’ convenience.
The PMS interval is once a year, or every 10,000 kms (whichever comes first) compared to the industry-standard 5,000-km PMS interval.
