Volvo C40 Recharge earns 5-star Euro NCAP rating
Volvo’s C40 Recharge has recently been awarded a five-star rating by the European New Car Assessment Program (NCAP). The Swedish automaker’s fully electric SUV joins its siblings in the Volvo Cars lineup as one of the safest cars on the road today.

This achievement continues Volvo Cars’ five-star streak in Euro NCAP testing, as all tested Volvo models being sold today received five stars in their respective Euro NCAP assessments.
In addition to being one of the safest car brands on the market, Volvo also aims to be one of the most eco-friendly companies in the automotive industry. Volvo Cars was the first established car maker to commit to all-out electrification and aims to sell only pure electric cars by 2030.
In the coming years, Volvo Cars plans to roll out a whole new family of pure electric cars, one of the industry’s most ambitious electrification plans and the Volvo C40 Recharge is proof that a vehicle can both be safe and earth-friendly.
