Volvo EX90 recognized at 2023 Green Good Design Awards

The Volvo EX90 has received recognition at the 2023 Green Good Design Awards.

Per Volvo Cars, its flagship all-electric sport utility vehicle (SUV) was recognized by the institution in the 2023 Green Good Design Awards’ transportation category alongside other automobiles like the Pininfarina NamX hydrogen-powered SUV and the Tata Avinya all-electric SUV.

“The Volvo EX90 supports Volvo Cars’ plan to become a fully electric car company by 2030 and meets customer demand for a seven-passenger vehicle that can carry a family and their luggage. Amongst the first fully electric, three-row family vehicles, the Volvo EX90 balances the versatility of large vehicles with a responsibility to contribute to a cleaner, safer world for everyone,” Volvo Cars shared in its recent statement.

The recognition further cements the Volvo EX90’s eco-friendly design. It rides on a dedicated electric platform and offers approximately 482 kilometers of all-electric range. Its battery, Volvo Cars pointed out, can be changed from 10 to 80 percent in about 30 minutes.

The Volvo EX90 is now available in major markets. Its arrival in the Philippines has yet to be announced.
