Volvo PH HQ reopens; unveils latest retail experience
The local arm of Swedish vehicle maker Volvo has announced that they have reopened the doors to their freshly-renovated showroom in Makati City.
In time for the celebration of their 25th anniversary, Volvo Philippines has completed their most extensive headquarters makeover in the country to date.
The latest showroom design is said to embody the minimalist Scandinavian style—a true Swedish interior to ensure a “pleasurable retail experience.”
Before experiencing the new showroom, strict guidelines such as wearing of face masks, social distancing, checking of body temperature, provision of alcohol disinfectants in key areas, and other protective measures are observed.
Should customers want to know the specifications or get more information about the Volvo vehicles on display, they may opt to scan the QR code on the car tag so that they can view the information they need in their mobile devices, reducing the physical contact.
Volvo PH also said that they are disinfecting the showroom vehicles and demo units every 30 minutes as well as all contact surfaces and areas within the Volvo retail space.
Further Volvo Philippines claimed that they are the first local luxury car dealership to have a dedicated concierge service during the start of the pandemic. The said program offers remote sales and service support via online and social media channels—making service appointment or a scheduled test drive or viewing easier.
Volvo Philippines President and CEO Atty. Alberto Arcilla expressed their eagerness to extend more to their clients despite the challenges posed by the new normal scenario.
“Our unrelenting pursuit to deliver a truly enjoyable Volvo ownership experience has led us to innovate. We ask, we listen, and we act based on what our customers are saying. Our new showroom is just one area that helps us provide a solution to their mobility needs,” Arcilla said.
“With safety as our guiding principle, we continue to focus on caring and protecting people not only with our cars but also with the way we conduct our business. This is our commitment. This is Volvo – for people, for the world around us, for life.”

Before the end of first half this year, Volvo Philippines offered free home installation of the Volvo Wallbox to all its T8 Twin Engine Plug-in Hybrid car owners.
Back in October last year, Volvo officially brought in its first plug-in hybrids to the Philippines.
During the 'Future of Electric Forum,' organized by the local arm of the European marque, Volvo unveiled the T8 Plug-in Hybrids, fitted on their three models, namely the Volvo XC60 compact crossover, the Volvo S90 estate, and the midsize premium SUV Volvo XC90.
