The leadership of the Aston Martin Manila said that customers who placed indent orders for the DBX707's special commissions could be looking at a six to nine-month waiting period.
Aston Martin Manila Chairman and President Marc Louie Tagle shared the aforementioned wait time to Carmudi Philippines for customers with bespoke specifications during the local launch of the Aston Martin DBX707.
“Although we won’t be bringing in a lot, we will be bringing in regular stocks of it [Aston Martin DBX707>. Of course, by indent, that’s going to take longer. When we mean indent, it’s more of a custom color — custom-made… I think it’s anywhere from six to nine months,” Tagle stated.
For the uninitiated, the recently-launched Aston Martin DBX707 sport utility vehicle (SUV) is no ordinary ride. That said, those eyeing to drive one home will most likely be looking at optional add-ons such as exterior and interior packages as well as a host of accessories that would fit one’s lifestyle.
The unit presented on its local debut, a dealership-configured Aston Martin DBX707, was nothing short of spectacular.
At its fore is a dark-hued signature double vein DB front grille flanked by stylish bi-LED headlamps and a pair of new LED daytime running lights. The lower bumper features a honeycomb design and a new front splitter. On its bonnet are two air intakes and a black Aston Martin badge.
The side profile is highlighted by smooth and sexy lines as well as brake cooling ducts with carbon fiber trims. It rides on 22-inch wheels, shod in (Summer) Pirelli P Zero tires, that house yellow carbon ceramic brakes with six-piston calipers.
Its rear is slapped with a roof-mounted spoiler, a black badge and script, a new large-diameter quad exhaust system, a quarter panel vent integrated into the rear bumper, and a big twin rear diffuser.
Aboard the ultra-luxury SUV, occupants can find interior appointments such as sporty leather seats with Aston Martin branding, a multi-functional steering wheel (with paddle shifters) swathed in premium leather, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, and a 10.25-inch infotainment system.
Other notable features found inside are carbon fiber appliques on the center console, stylish air vents on the dashboard, a similarly elegant rear A/C vent, and a panoramic glass sunroof.
Powering the Aston Martin DBX707 is a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 powerplant married to a nine-speed wet-clutch automatic transmission. This setup makes 697 horsepower and 900Nm of torque. It can also get the Aston Martin DBX707 zooming from zero to 100 kilometers per hour in 3.3 seconds.
The Aston Martin DBX707 comes with a base price of P33.5 million.
