It did not take long for Ford to officially release the next-generation Ranger Raptor.
In a statement, the Blue Oval brand announced that it will be unveiling the newest version of the high-performance pickup truck on February 22 via Ford of Europe’s YouTube channel.
“Developed by Ford Performance for off-road enthusiasts, the next-gen Ranger Raptor has been engineered with smarter technology controlling tougher hardware to create the most advanced Ranger ever,” the company shared. No other details were shared on the website.

The global launch of the Ranger Raptor came months after the American automaker revealed the “smartest, most versatile and most capable” version of the Ranger to date.
Locally, the current Ford Ranger Raptor is powered by a 2.0-liter bi-turbo diesel engine matched to a 10-speed automatic transmission that can deliver a maximum of 213hp and 500Nm torque.
The safety, security, driver assistance features found in the present Philippine-spec Ford Ranger Raptor are pre-collision assist with pedestrian detection (autonomous emergency braking, lane keeping aid, terrain management system with six modes (normal, sport, grass/gravel, mud/sand, rock and baja), electronic stability control (including roll-over mitigation, anti-lock braking system, electronic brakeforce distribution and traction control), as well as hill descent control and hill start assist.
The existing version is currently priced at P2.048 million.
