The video shows us a stunning view of the adventure bike, albeit wrapped in Triumph camouflage, from various angles. Triumph says that the new look incorporates the new Tiger design language which was showcased in the Tiger 900 family.
The new Tiger 1200 prototype, says Triumph, demonstrates the new generation’s distinctive and purposeful look.
Developed by Triumph’s off-road specialists, the Tiger 1200 is expected to boast unstoppable on- and off-road performance. The motorcycle brand says that it was designed and engineered with purpose and intent to deliver the most capable large-capacity adventure motorcycle available.
Triumph is yet to reveal the specifications of the upcoming Tiger 1200, but the current-gen Tiger 1200 ADV features a 1,215cc engine paired with a six-speed gearbox and makes 139hp and 122Nm of torque.
It also features onboard tech such as ABS, traction control, cruise control, selectable riding modes, the Triumph Shift Assist, and the high-spec Triumph Semi-Active Suspension (TSAS), among others.
The Tiger 1200 is yet to arrive at local dealerships although Triumph’s local ADV lineup includes expressway-legal bikes like the new Tiger Sport 600 and the Tiger 900.
