WATCH: Triumph teases new Tiger ADV
British motorcycle manufacturer, Triumph Motorcycles Ltd., has just dropped a teaser video of what it said will be the latest addition to the Tiger family.
Undergoing final testing and probably a few fine-tuning touches, the final prototype of the latest Tiger looks like it’s just about ready.
In the video, which you can check out here, we see a camouflaged adventure bike riding through the open road. Now it may not be as bold as Husqvarna’s Norden 901 prototype clip but it’s enough to get ADV fans excited.
Triumph has not disclosed any information about the upcoming bike, only saying that “the Triumph team has been testing the final prototype of a new Tiger that is set to transform the middleweight adventure sports category and deliver a new benchmark in specification, capability, performance, and style.”
Word on the web says that what we’re about to see is the Triumph Tiger Sport 660 which sports 660cc triple-cylinder motor that puts out 80hp and 64Nm of torque.
Spotted in the video, however, are LED lighting, an inverted fork, a single rear shock, an underbelly exhaust, what appears to be ABS-equipped Nissin brakes, and Michelin tires.
Triumph says that the new Tiger’s big reveal will happen in October.
