Aside from that, McKinley Kyle Paz — who was Portugal during the event — also joined the event via Zoom. He is competing at this year’s FIM Junior GP European Championships.

During the program, Mauricio shared that he still has high hopes despite some early setbacks he got for the season. “I’m taking them as lessons for me to get better,” Mauricio said.

According to YMPH, it has been developing Filipino motorsport athletes for more than a decade already.

It started cultivating riders at a grassroots program that helped riders elevate their skills. Then, they further developed the potential of key individuals and took them to the next level. Today their roster of international riders is representing the Philippines in top global races.

“The Philippines is one step closer to the European World Championship which is the next step in their development plan. That is due to the hard work of the Yamaha Philippine Racing Team and all its partners who are at the forefront of the Race your Flag Campaign,” YMPH explained in a press statement.

To recall, McKinley Kyle Paz was the first Filipino racer who won under the ARRC UB150 Category.
