Yamaha Motor Philippines (YMPH) has rebranded its installation at the Light Rail Transit (LRT)-Monumento station.
The new installation, which banners the “Play Your Tough” campaign for the Mio Gear, was put up following the partnership renewal between the Japanese motorcycle’s local arm and the Light Rail Manila Corporation (LRMC) in 2021.
Aside from the station’s stickered portions that showcase the brand’s campaign for its automatic transmission motorcycle, Yamaha Monumento also has a giant Mio Gear replica.
In a statement, the Japanese motorcycle marque said that the concept of the campaign is to encourage everyone to “ride through every challenge, master the hustle, and forge their way to an unbreakable lifestyle.”
Serving as the first company to have a long-term investment in the LRT-1 station, the extended partnership between YMPH and LRMC (along with Phar Philippines) — which began in February 2018 — will continue up to 2025.
Yamaha shared that it is “dedicated to driving the standards for the facility, its security, and quality of service for the public.”
Present during the unveiling of the new installation were YMPH Hiroshi Koike, Sales and Marketing Division Head Shinsuke Iida, Sales Senior General Manager Romeo Tan, Marketing Section Manager Toni Acuesta, and LRMC Head of Operation Andrea Madrid.
