Yamaha Motor Philippines Incorporated has collaborated with Spartan Philippines for 2023, a year that proved to be a fruitful one for both brands.
The partnership started as a collaboration for the Yamaha Mio Gear and its “Play Your Tough” campaign. For Yamaha, the said motorcycle model “is a representation of personal toughness and encourages each individual to overcome any challenge.”
On that note, the Yamaha Mio Gear can be likened to the required determination that each participant must have to overcome the obstacles presented in each race.
Featured in each leg of the Yamaha Mio Gear “Play Your Tough” events, the Spartan section offers various challenges, which include crossing monkey bars, completing box jumps, battle rope exercises, and medicine ball slams.
Participants who finished the challenges in the events were given a special Yamaha item.
Additionally, Yamaha has taken part in Spartan races with its very own Mio Gear Squad who were ready to showcase their toughness.
The races the team has participated in are the Spartan Race Alviera, Spartan Race Stadion, and Spartan Race Montclair.
Yamaha noted that it looks forward to more Spartans competing in races for 2024 and experiencing true toughness with the Mio Gear.
