After touring it in Manila and Cebu, Yamaha Motor Philippines Inc. (YMPH) brought the Mio Fazzio in Davao for the culminating leg of the #StartYOUniqueness campaign for the year.
The Japanese motorcycle manufacturer’s local arm held the fun-filled unique fashion and music festival late last month that is aimed to help Generation Z attendees express themselves through arts and fashion.
The event exhibited streetwear apparel company DBTK (Don't Blame the Kids). Visitors in the venue had the opportunity to personalize a shirt by choosing from a variety of patches. That evening, music from trend-setting artists namely G22, DJ Mars Miranda, TJ Monterde, Juan Karlos, and Moira Dela Torre were enjoyed by the crowd.
YMPH said in a statement, that the highlight of the show was to promote the culture of Generation Z. “Matching their style is the Mio Fazzio, with its unique features, technology, and design. And with all that, it is more than its style. Because Yamaha values a distinct perspective in riding experience, it offers a freedom of expression through every rev in the most unique way possible,” YMPH shared.
“The #StartYOUniqueness reached its climax of the year but there will surely be more from Yamaha and the Mio Fazzio when 2023 arrives,” the company added.
Introduced to the local market last June, the Yamaha Mio Fazzio exudes a very youthful vibe. The oval-shaped elements of the headlights, signal lights, taillights and inverted LCD meter panel of the model complemented its neoclassical aesthetics.
Further, the motorcycle is powered by a single-cylinder four-stroke, two valve, single overhead cam 125cc Blue Core hybrid powertrain with smart motor generator and stop-and-start system. The power mill of the latest Mio offering has a lower horsepower output (8.3 horsepower) yet delivers the same pulling power (9.5Nm torque) when compared to the engines of the Mio i125 S, Soul i 125, Gear and Gravis.
