Yamaha Motor Philippines (YMPH) has rounded up this year’s roadshow series for the Mio Gear #Playyourtough campaign at Cagayan de Oro.
Held for two days last weekend (July 22-23), the crowd at SM City Downtown Premier participated in the various events that highlighted the core strength of the famed scooter offering — as seen in the first two legs conducted in Pasay and Cebu.
Just like those conducted in the two venues early this year, Cagayanons were also encouraged to showcase their skills and “toughen their passion in every ride.”
During the aforementioned days, Cagayanons were challenged to try on the Basketball shootout challenge where Gilas Pilipinas cagers Ranidel De Ocampo and Beau Belga had their own contest.
Event-goers also showed their abilities in the Spartan mini-obstacle course with the help of coaches from the United VisMin OCR Community (UVM) and online gamers tested their mettle in the Mobile Legends and watched esports teams Bigboys and Octorian Gaming go head-to-head.
Further, YMPH also displayed the Yamaha Mio Gear in various color options. To note, the scooter — equipped with a 125 cubic centimeter (cc) engine with Blue Core technology mated to a continuously variable transmission (CVT) — comes in four hues: Worn Gray and Matte Gray for the Yamaha Mio Gear, Matte Black, and Matte Brown for the S version.
To recall, YMPH launched the latest color offerings for the Mio Gear’s two variants during the final leg of the Yamaha Mio Gear Moto Campground conducted last year.
Despite the campaign finale, YMPH assured the public that the company still has numerous programs lined up within the year.
