Yamaha PH gives new hues for Mio Gear roster 

Yamaha Motor Philippines Inc. (YMPH) has added two new colors for its Mio Gear lineup to give customers more color options.

Revealed at the final leg of the Yamaha Mio Gear Moto Campground activation held in Cagayan de Oro, the new colors — all in matte finish — are dark gray and brown. The former is available for the standard variety while the latter is exclusive to the Gear S.

With that, the new body colors offerings have been expanded to six as the scooter already has off-white and matte gray for the standard version as well as matte blue and matte black for the Gear S trim.

YMPH said that the colors come with less painted parts to fit the adventurous and athletic design of the Yamaha Mio Gear series.

Known for its “Ready to Play” tagline, the Yamaha Mio Gear is powered by the fuel efficient 125cc Blue Core engine with Smart Motor Generator and stop-and-start system to ensure quick and quiet engine restarts with a twist of the throttle.

The aforementioned scooter sits on 14-inch tires (80/80 in front, 100/70 in the rear).

Its convenience features include hazard lights, a slip-resistant footboard and the usual double item hanger (carabiner and hook).

The Yamaha Mio Gear is also fitted with reflectorized graphics to increase visibility on the road while highlighting the signature Mio emblem.

It can be recalled that the YMPH first brought the Yamaha Mio Gear in the country in August 2021, expanding the Mio's local roster.
