The Yamaha Philippines Racing Team remains hopeful despite encountering setbacks in Round 4 of the 2024 Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC).

Meanwhile, his teammate April King Mascardo couldn’t make it due to an injury.
“‘The Flash’ remains motivated to show his true abilities after being the race champion back in Round 2 at the Zhuhai, International Circuit in China,” Yamaha Motor Philippines said in a press release.
McKinley Kyle Paz, on the other hand, finished 12th (Race 1) and 7th (Race 2) in the SS 600 category. His teammate, Apiwat Wongthananon, finished 7th (Race 1) but retired in the second race after suffering a DNF (Did Not Finish).
Still, their efforts kept the Yamaha Tekhne Racing Team Asia number one in the team standings.
“Being an icon for Filipino racing as a trailblazer, “The Wonderboy” has been in tougher situations and will undoubtedly figure out a way to return on the podium,” Yamaha Motor Philippines wrote.
Round 5 of the 2024 ARRC season will be held at the Sepang International Circuit from September 13-15.
