Yamaha Motor Philippines Inc. (YMPH) recently collaborated with Don’t Blame the Kids (DBTK) apparel to further promote its fashionable Mio Fazzio to the target market.
The Japanese motorcycle brand’s local arm co-presented the lifestyle and clothing brand’s recent 10th anniversary held at Elements in Eton Centris. The party was filled with fun and games with YMPH displaying the Mio Fazzio.
According to YMPH, the event — dubbed as #mioFAZZIOxDBTK — “brought the fashion and motorcycling industries closer than before.” “This proves how important it is for everyone to express their ideas and how do they want to brand themselves. It’s going to be a worthwhile ride for Yamaha and DBTK’s project and there will be no room for pause, just moving forward,” it added.
The Yamaha Mio Fazzio — which was introduced to the country last June — exudes a very youthful vibe and is designed to appeal to the Generation Z (those born from 1995-2010) market.
The oval-shaped elements of the headlights, signal lights, taillights and inverted LCD meter panel of the model that expanded the nameplate’s lineup to seven complemented the neoclassical aesthetics of the newly-introduced model.
Further, the motorcycle is powered by a single-cylinder four-stroke, two valve, single overhead cam 125cc Blue Core hybrid powertrain with smart motor generator and stop-and-start system. The power mill of the latest Mio offering has a lower horsepower output (8.3 horsepower) yet delivers the same pulling power (9.5Nm torque) when compared to the engines of the Mio i125 S, Soul i 125, Gear and Gravis.
