Yamaha Motor Philippines tapped into the tough side of its Cebuano customers as the motorcycle company staged the Mio Gear Playground in SM City Cebu earlier this month.

At the core of the experience was the Yamaha Mio Gear and the Mio Gear S. Four scooters were on display to flaunt the toughness, resiliency, and athleticism of the nameplate.
For the two-day event, the motorcycle company put up three activities to test both the physical and mental game of Yamaha Mio Gear riders and mall goers, namely a basketball half-court shootout, a Spartan obstacle course, and Mobile Legends matches.
On the first day, local Yamaha Mio Gear owners and club members participated in the basketball shootout. Also in attendance to showcase their skills in scoring hoops were court celebrities such as Coach Mavs of Mav's Phenomenal Basketball and pro-cager Paul Lee.
During the second day of the affair, Yamaha Philippines invited the participants to take part in the indoor Spartan obstacle course. There, representatives from the United VisMin Obstacle Course Race Community boasted their strength and willpower as they conquered various stages of the course.
Present were coaches Manny Pagal and Kenneth Jay Gariando. Spartan member Elton Durango and beauty queen Emmanuelle Vera also showcased that they’re as tough as nails.
Finally, attendees watched pro-Mobile Legends teams LV Dragons and Crimson Esports duke it out in the show match.
Not only did the Cebuano Yamaha Mio Gear owners and club members get the chance to take home Mio Gear merch but they also had the opportunity to bring with them fun memories and stories.
Overall, the Yamaha Mio Gear Playground in Cebu garnered positive reactions both from event participants and onlookers who were happy to see that the motorcycle company is playing its part in creating and facilitating experiences that reflect the Mio Gear.
