Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) announced that its pick-up truck offering Strada Athlete is now available in a new shade.
In a statement, MMPC has extended the paint selections to three as the Mitsubishi Strada Athlete can now be bought in Jet Black Mica— adding to the current color lineup of Sunflare Orange Pearl and White Diamond.
“The blacked-out edition of the versatile pick-up truck projects a more tough and aggressive look to its already robust design,” MMPC noted in its statement.
The overall body color is complemented by the blacked out rear spoiler and front bumper. “Matching its tough aesthetics, the Strada Athlete boasts several design elements that make it stand out. The Mitsubishi pick-up truck has side decals that extend from the rear doors up to the tailgate. Black exterior design trimmings on the front “Dynamic Shield” grille, side mirror turn lamp, styling bar, and 18-inch alloy wheels that exude a very masculine look,” the company added.
Giving contrast to the exterior are the orange leather seats with black accents.
“The addition of the new Strada Jet Black Mica color option is our way of providing more choices for our customers. We believe that a vehicle is more than just a tool of transportation but a reflection of their characteristics. With this in mind, we are committed to provide alternatives that will best represent their personality and further enhance ownership experience,” MMPC President and Chief Executive Officer Takeshi Hara was quoted as saying.

It is also equipped with Mitsubishi Active Stability and Traction Control (M-ASTC) and Trailer Stability Assist, ensuring performance and safety under heavy loads, as well as Hill Descent Control and Hill Start Assist for those ramps and steep slopes.
The Mitsubishi Strada Athlete is offered in two variants: 4x4 (priced at P1.764 million) and 4x2 (pegged at P1.447 million) and is available in all dealers nationwide. To recall, it was only March last year when the Strada Athlete was introduced locally.
