You can now reserve your next-gen Ford Ranger unit
Ford Philippines has signaled the nearing official introduction of the next-generation Ranger in the country after formally opening the reservations for the much-anticipated pick-up truck.

The next-generation Ranger will have two powertrain options: the 2.0-liter bi-turbo engine paired to a 10-speed automatic transmission and the 2.0-liter single turbo matched to a six-speed automatic or manual transmission.In a statement, the Blue Oval brand’s local distributor said that its customers may start contacting or visiting any of the Ford dealerships nationwide to pre-order and “be among the first in the Philippines to own the best Ranger ever built.”
To recall, the outgoing Ranger roster was only introduced in February last year.
Apart from announcing the opening of the model’s order books, Ford Philippines announced that the retail price of the next-generation Ranger will start at P1.198 million. The full lineup and pricing — Ford Philippines added — will be announced within the coming weeks.
“The next-generation Ranger will soon be arriving in the Philippines, and we’re truly excited to work with our dealers to begin accepting reservations this month,” Ford Philippines Managing Director Mike Breen said.
“The huge anticipation towards the next-gen Ranger is truly gaining ground – from the positive feedback we’re seeing on social media and getting from our dealers, partners, and employees, so we’re starting our launch festivities on a high note by kicking off reservations ahead of our local reveal,” he added.
Ford Philippines said the creation of the forthcoming Ranger is the “result of deep customer insight, developed through extensive customer research.”
Taking cues from the brand’s global truck portfolio as it sports a bold new design, a wider stance, larger grille, increased width and wheelbase, and signature C-clamp shaped headlamps.
Inside the cabin, the incoming model features a new seat design, a 10- or 12-inch colored portrait touchscreen, and SYNC 4A with wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto compatibility.
While the company has not shared soon-to-be-offered trims, it noted that it will have two powertrain options: the 2.0-liter bi-turbo engine paired to a 10-speed automatic transmission and the 2.0-liter single turbo matched to a six-speed automatic or manual transmission.
Aside from the host of services that will be offered to complement ownership experience, buyers of the all-new Ford Ranger can expect a suite of safety features and new driver assistance technologies that will come available in the vehicle.
The global launch of the next-generation Ranger was made in November last year.
