Kia introduced the Soluto back in 2019. The South Korean carmaker’s entry into the subcompact sedan category offered a capable and affordable daily driver that appealed to many Filipino car buyers.
At the heart of the vehicle is a 1.4-liter, in-line, four-cylinder, Dual CVVT gasoline engine that can either be mated to a five-speed manual or a four-speed automatic transmission. The powertrain sends power to the front wheels and produces a decent 95hp with 132Nm of torque.
The Kia Soluto is supported by MacPhersons with an H-type sub-frame at the front and V-Beam coupled torsion beam axles at the rear. The suspension setup is paired to disc brakes at the front and drum brakes at the rear.
Kia currently offers the Soluto in four variants: the 1.4 LX M/T, 1.4 LX A/T, 1.4 EX M/T, and the 1.4 EX A/T. Want to know which of these trims would suit you best? Find out by checking our spec sheet below.
