Roy Robles, managing editor of Zigwheels Philippines (sister company of Carmudi Philippines) finished at the podium at the initial leg of the Toyota Gazoo Racing (TGR) Vios Cup 2022.

Last July 2, Robles placed second at the Autocross Challenge's Sporting Media Category. 

The aforementioned part of the program allowed the members of the media and their influencer counterparts to showcase their racing skills by navigating the specially designed obstacle course.

On the other hand, a total of 27 racers participated across all three categories under the Circuit Championship (Super Sporting, Sporting and Promotional class). 

During the race weekend, Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) experienced the warm welcome of the crowd who watched the races from the grandstand and online while cheering for their favorite racers, celebrities and media personalities.

“The TGR Vios Cup is our way of celebrating our ever-growing racing community. We are thankful to our races and racing teams for showing the Gazoo Racing spirit, especially in this challenging times,” TMP President Atsuhiro Okamoto said.

“We hope this year’s season will continue to give the drive to race your ambition," he added.

Further, the TMP said that the Leg 2 and 3 of the TGR Vios Cup will take place in August and November, respectively.  

The Toyota Gazoo Racing Vios Cup is organized in cooperation with Bridgestone and Petron, and is supported by Brembo, Denso, OMP, Tuason Racing, AVT, 3M, Rota, myToyota Wallet, and Kinto One.
