Audi A4 Overview
The Audi A4 is a nameplate of compact executive cars available in sedan and wagon first released in 1994 by Audi under the Volkswagen Group. The A4 has gone through five generations of the B platform. The current B9 version unveiled in 2015 during the Frankfurt Motor Show was the fifth model to carry the A4. In 2019, the A4 received some heavy visual updates to ensure that the car remains competitive with its long-standing competitors, the Mercedes C-Class and the BMW 3-Series. The A4 sedan comes in eight trims and seven engine options available in both diesel and gasoline fuel types.

Audi A4 Interior
Inside the A4 cabin is a streamlined modern dashboard. The instrument cluster has an optional Audi virtual cockpit that features a 12.3-inch high-resolution LCD screen that presents driving information and even the navigation map in a very intuitive manner. The virtual cockpit can be controlled via the multifunction steering wheel. The center-mounted infotainment display has also been upgraded to be more user friendly, and now comes with smartphone integration compatible with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It is partnered with an 8-speaker sound system. With Audi’s wide selection of premium materials and leather for the upholstery there are add-on options that can easily jack up the price but, as Audi puts it, “a style you can refine down to the last detail.” Nonetheless, the standard seats are comfortable enough. Coupled with ambient lighting and an automatic AC system, these cabin features are enough to set the mood of the drive. The only drawback is the interior spaces are not maximized in terms of adding cubbies for small knickknacks.

Audi A4 Exterior
Much of the 2019 refreshed version of the A4 sedan was focused on its visuals. Even though Audi knew that it came up with a beautifully designed car, it has to keep on changing to adapt to shifting tastes and preferences. As a result, the only exterior that survived from the facelifted version is the roof, hood, and trunk lid. The new A4 now sports a new set of matrix headlights that flanks a bigger, more robust front grille that dominates the front façade of the car. This Audi luxury sedan also gets sleek new doors, the hood gets new crease lines and new rim design. The panoramic sunroof is also a newly added feature that is standard for all trims. The A4 measures 1,427 mm tall, 1,842 mm wide, 4,726 mm long, and has a wheelbase of 2,820 mm. It rides on a set of forged lightweight aluminum wheels wrapped in size 7 J x 16 with 205/60 R 16 tires.

Audi A4 Ride & Handling
The Audi A4 handles itself effortlessly on the road which is why this sedan remains on top of its class. This Audi sedan does not shy away when navigating corners. And true to a German-made sedan, there is little body roll or feel of any sudden jolt or rough jitters when going on uneven terrain, a rough patch, or turning a curve. The design of the A4 with its slender roof pillars and wide windshields also lessen driver strain because it gives the Audi driver clear visibility on all sides. The adaptive suspension may be firm for most people to enjoy but the standard suspension does an awesome job of providing a comfortable ride, so passengers get to relax and enjoy the ride. Even rear passengers get to enjoy long trips on the Audi A4 because of its ample leg space, shoulder, and elbow room which minimizes the feeling of being claustrophobic.
