Going inside the cabin you’ll find hard plastics all over that is a typical setting for this type of vehicle. You’ve got a manual air conditioning system and an AM/FM radio connected to the speakers for added convenience. Meanwhile, the fabric upholstered seats are adjustable and have a heater with automatic headlamps on the car ceiling.

For its new generation models, BAIC offers more unique materials in the interior with some wooden finish in the instrumental console.

The BAIC Freedom is 4400 mm long, 1528 mm wide, and 1832 mm tall. The two sharp adjustable halogen headlamps highlight the rugged styling of the car and at gets some nice air dam as well.

Looking at the sides, you’ll see a more boxy aura with some tinge of linings. Overall, the exterior of this car may not be that astounding but for a delivery truck, this could do just fine. 

Other exterior features include a power antenna, remote fuel lid opener, manually adjustable rearview mirror, and wheel covers.

The cargo volume capacity of this vehicle is estimated at up to 990 liters.

The suspensions are being handled by rigid axle, leaf spring type for both rear and front. As for the steering, it uses a rack and pinion type and is electronically-assisted with only 5.5 meter turning radius. When it comes to the riding aspect, this vehicle offers enough convenience for both the passenger and the driver, especially during long hauls.

This car is powered by a 1372cc inclined, 4-cylinder, 4-stroke, water-cooled, SOHC MPI gasoline engine that can fire up to 94 hp and 115 Nm torque at a top speed of 130 kmph. It is mated with a 5-speed manual transmission and all power is sent to the rear wheels. Its engine is also Euro 4 compliant

The braking system is being controlled by disc brakes at the front and a leading and trailing shoe drum brakes at the rear. As for the safety features, BAIC Freedom has Anti-Lock Braking System for its higher trims. Other safety features include front and side-impact beams. 

With its price and enough convenience, BAIC Freedom can be a great choice for small businesses that are operating at a little cost and want to have transportation that is both affordable and useful at the same time. However, you have to keep in mind that it lacks a lot of great features, especially for safety and security.
