The first all-electric
The BYD e6-2014 was one of the first all-electric cars to roll out in the Philippines. I drove it a long time back and never got the chance to share my experience. The car is more of an MPV than a true-blue SUV. The steering wheel is nice and planted, while the dashboard is neatly laid with LCD panels. The seats, upholstered in cream beige fabric, are very comfortable and ergonomic. The e6-2014 is an impressive intra-city performer with good maneuverability. The silent powertrain is s bliss and a far departure from noisy, fuel-operated cars. Braking too is good and regenerative.
