Perfect for long-haul utility run
We recently took the BYD Shark 6 on a long-haul utility run and were amazed by its capabilities. We loaded it with over 350kg of tools and supplies for a 250 km round trip to a construction site that was nestled deep in the hills. The sharp turns and steep inclines demanded torque, and the BYD Shark 6 didn’t disappoint. With two electric motors and 650Nm on tap backing the 1.5L turbo, I could not feel strain even once. On tight gravel climbs and steep inclines, the 4WD system smoothly engaged, and traction was quite good. The battery was able to cover the first 70km before the need to switch to petrol.
