Changan CS95

High-class quality is probably some of the words in the makers' mind while creating the Changan CS95 as it features a luxurious interior with precise craftsmanship. It also comes standard with a 12.3 inches high definition touch screen infotainment system and a fully digital 10.25-inch gauge cluster that gives the driver a more sense of connection to the vehicle. The Changan CS95 exterior sports a wide-winged grille, C-shaped headlamps, and sculptural waistline that gives the vehicle a boxy and modern feel. The front fascia is dominated by a large chrome grille that somehow accentuates the vehicle with a sense of strength and comfort, while the floating roof gives the vehicle a sense of speed.

The overall dimension of the car is 1785 mm in height, 1930 mm in width, 4949 mm in length, and a wheelbase of 2,810 mm. It comes with 19-inch aluminum-alloy wheels that have a two-tone rim design that calls attention to the dynamic outline.

It is also equipped with additional exterior features such as the Power Adjustable Exterior Rear View Mirror, Rear Window Wiper, Rear Window Defogger, Centrally Mounted Fuel Tank, Rear Spoiler, Outside Rear View Mirror Turn Indicator, Integrated Antenna Roof Rail, and Adjustable headlights.

This car exudes a more aggressive yet elegant personality. Unlike CS75, this actually has a better exterior design.

The Independent MacPherson strut and independent multi-link handle the suspension system for the front and rear wheels, respectively.

Just like its fellow Changan cars available in PH, the CS95 also employs an electric powered steering wheel with Tilt and Telescopic steering column and a Rack and Pinion steering gear type.

Some other smart driver assistant features are also available for this car, some of these are the Brand-new In-Call Intelligent vehicle interconnection system, Integrated Adaptive Cruise system (IACC) can lead you to destination without holding onto your steering wheel connects seamlessly with the world all the time, and the LCDA intelligent backward auxiliary system.

The makers of the CS95 must have paid equal attention to power and control since the vehicle is employed with a 1998 cc 2.0-litre 4-cylinder Gasoline Direct Engine engine that fires 233 hp at 5,000 rpm and 360 Nm torque at 1,750 revs per minute. It’s mated with an Aisin 6-speed Automatic Transmission. 

It also inherits the BorgWarner intelligent 4 wheel drive system, easy to deal with miscellaneous road conditions.

As for safety, Changan CS95 seemed to be well-equipped with it. In fact, it has airbags for the driver, passenger, and side airbags as well. Among other safety features include the Child Safety Locks, ISOFIX, Anti-Lock Braking System, Brake Assist, Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), Vehicle Stability Control System, Seat Belt Warning, Height Adjustable Front Seat Belts, Parking Sensors, Crash Sensor, Immobilizer, Lane Departure Warning System, Door Ajar Warning, Tyre Pressure Monitoring, and Engine Check Warning.

It also has security features to allow better and safer drives. CS95 has a 360 °HD panoramic image, an Omni-directional security escort, and four-camera driving recorder, real-time recording of the driving environment.

There is no wonder why this car is getting some attention. Apart from its massive looks and powerful engine, it is also equipped with some good tech and safety features.
