The Chery Tiggo 2 Pro's interior is designed for comfort. Although some of the materials chosen for its interior are a mixed bag, its overall design and its relative affordability all but make up for the inclusion of hard plastics which would otherwise be considered a premium-feeling layout. The cabin has an excellent, functional layout that prioritizes ease of access and spaciousness, providing ample legroom, headroom, and storage space. 

The fabric-upholstered seats are designed to maximize comfort, and the driver's seat provides excellent road visibility and even comes with an adjustable steering wheel. In true ergonomic fashion, the steering wheel also features several ease-of-access buttons for cruise control, climate control, audio systems, and hands-free mobile phone access. 

Its 9-inch touchscreen infotainment-slash-instrument cluster is placed front-and-center and provides essential information like speed, RPM, fuel level, trip data, and on-screen directions. The system is Bluetooth compatible and comes with USB ports, AUX connectivity, and Apple CarPlay and QDLink compatibility. Despite the ample presence of analog controls, the rest of the Tiggo 2 Pro’s interior features, are electronically powered.   

The Chery Tiggo 2 Pro's external design is a perfect balance of modern aesthetics and sporty characteristics dominated by a prominent diamond-patterned grille with chrome elements for its front fascia. This, flanked by sleek projector headlights with LED daytime running lights, gives off a very sporty vibe, while the sculpted hood, black lower bumper, fog light surrounds, and its 157 mm ground clearance exude a subtle ruggedness.

The Tiggo 2 Pro is comfort-oriented and is ideal for city driving, although it can hold its own for minor off-road excursions. Its overall handling is not particularly sporty, and some minor body roll and 'dampened' response time is to be expected. If used within the parameters of its intended purpose, however, the Tiggo 2 Pro drives like a charm.

The Chery Tiggo 2 Pro is equipped with a 1.5-litre, naturally aspirated, 4-cylinder gasoline engine capable of a maximum power output of 108 hp at 6,000 revolutions per minute (rpm), with a peak torque of 140 Nm at 3,000 rpm. It comes with a 16-valve dual overhead camshaft (DOHC) and is exclusively paired with a continuously variable transmission (CVT). Overall, its engine promises smooth seamless gear shifts, a comfortable ride, and maximum fuel efficiency.

Being a budget-friendly offering, the Tiggo 2 Pro doesn’t come with a specialized suite of safety features, but it does come with all the standard safety bells and whistles found on all modern vehicles. The Tiggo 2 Pro boasts Dual SRS airbags, brakeforce distribution, and stability programs, a radar reversing sensor and rearview camera, safety locks, and an anti-theft engine immobilizer. It’s not the most comprehensive, but it definitely gets the job done.
