Kia Grand Carnival

The huge dimensions of the Kia Grand Carnival have created a lot of room on the inside, so much that the first two variants are offered with a total of eleven seats, all of which offer a decent amount of space. For those who want a lounge-like experience though, the top-spec variant is offered with seven seats.

The cabin of the Grand Carnival feels properly well built with great quality and fit and finish levels. The slim three-spoke multi-functional steering wheel and the big pod-like instrument console with a MID in between gives you an experience of driving a premium vehicle behind the wheel. 

The centre console of the dashboard here looks broad with a slight focus towards the driver side. The 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system is flanked with vertically laid trapezoidal AC vents on the upper layer of the dashboard, while the lower layer houses the controls for three-zone automatic climate control in a trapezoidal panel. The cabin gets a dual-tone black and grey theme, making the cabin feel airy and spacious.

The cabin of the Grand Carnival is spruced with exclusive features like dual electric sunroofs, leather upholstery, power-adjustable front seats, cooled glove box, push-button start with keyless entry, and so on.

The Kia Grand Carnival is a proper no-nonsense luxury MPV from the word go, with its huge stance and premium design complementing each other very well. The MPV looks big from whichever angle you look at it.

The front look of the Kia Grand Carnival has a pleasant design with the large tiger-nose grille which comes embedded with jewel-like chrome garnish on the inside and chrome surrounds around it. The wing-like headlamps are proportionate with L-shaped daytime running LEDs and LED projector headlamps. The C-shaped fog lamp housing blends in well with the lower air dam on the front bumper.

The van-like proportions of the Kia Grand Carnival are very evident when you view the vehicle from the side. The crisp line flowing across the sideways, sharp rise in the window waistline after the B-pillar, and machined alloy wheels all combine to complement the long profile of the Grand Carnival in a premium way.

At the back, the Kia Grand Carnival maintains its big stance with a large rear windshield and horizontally laid tail lamps with LED inserts and rounded edges. 

The Kia Grand Carnival offers a butter-smooth ride quality, whatever the tarmac maybe, thanks to a soft setup for the Macpherson struts at the front and multi-link at the rear. Despite having a seating capacity of eleven passengers, there is no shortage of room for all the seats. 

The Kia Grand Carnival is bestowed with a 2.2-litre four-cylinder diesel engine mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox as the only powertrain combination. The engine is good enough to make 200 PS of maximum power output and 441 Nm of peak torque output.

All the basic safety essentials which one could think of in a premium vehicle are there in the Kia Grand Carnival, such as front, side, and curtain airbags, ABS with EBD and brake assist, front and rear parking sensors, rear camera, electronic stability control, traction control, and hill start assist.
