Land Rover Range Rover Evoque Overview
The SUV which changed the dynamics of the midsize luxury SUVs when it comes to the aspect of design, the Land Rover Range Rover Evoque has entered into the second generation. The new Land Rover Range Rover Evoque is now bigger and packs in more technology than ever before, making it an even better option for those who look for a bigger focus on form among SUVs. The Land Rover Range Rover Evoque is now available in a total of four different variants to choose from – SE diesel, R-Dynamic HSE diesel, R-Dynamic HSE petrol, and R-Dynamic HSE petrol with mild-hybrid technology.

Land Rover Range Rover Evoque Interior
The Land Rover Range Rover Evoque now features an all-new cabin design, the layout of which might look very familiar as compared to the previous iteration of the SUV. This familiarity is all down due to the slanted design for the central layer of the dashboard as well as the lower part of the center console.
However, there are many changes introduced here in the Range Rover Evoque, the list of which includes an all-new TFT instrument console with configurable displays and a new multi-functional steering wheel with touch-sensitive control. In addition, it also has a bigger and enhanced touchscreen infotainment system with more connectivity options and cool looking controls for the dual-zone automatic climate control panel.
While the Land Rover Range Rover Evoque is bestowed with an incredibly longer list of features and equipment in the cabin than before, the one area which still continues to leave a scope of improvement is the rear seat space. The sloping roofline and limited knee room doesn’t make the rear seats a spacious place to be in.

Land Rover Range Rover Evoque Exterior
Ever since its inception, the Land Rover Range Rover Evoque has been one benchmark when it comes to looks and design. The coupe-ish impression in its design with a slanted roof hunkered stance from the rear and traditional Land Rover stance and design cues make it quite a looker. This new iteration of the Evoque takes off from where its previous version left, by being slightly larger as well as bolder to look at.
The front profile of the Land Rover Range Rover Evoque has been revised to make it look sleeker than ever before. The trapezoidal front grille, as well as headlamps, placed adjacent to its both the edges are now much sleeker, with the former now having a more pronounce honeycomb mesh pattern, while the latter having an all-new LED lighting theme with revised daytime running LEDs. The front bumper too has been heavily restyled with twin slats of LED turn indicators placed in conjunction with air vents on the corners of the bumper.
The side profile of the Land Rover Range Rover Evoque too looks better than before, and the majority of this enhancement in impression goes to the longer wheelbase. However, the traditional Evoque design bits like slightly slanted roofline, blacked-out pillars, and a prominent bulge over the front fender continues to remain intact here. The fenders now come with nicer looking long LED turn indicators, with the Evoque now featuring flush type door handles.
The rear profile of the Land Rover Range Rover Evoque too has been subtly revised as well, with the tail lamps turning out to be much sleeker than ever before. There is a nice piano black strip flowing in between the tail lamps, and the whole rear profile of the Land Rover Evoque now looks much inspired by its elder sibling, the Velar.

Land Rover Range Rover Evoque Ride & Handling
Bestowed with traditional Land Rover pedigree, the Land Rover Range Rover Evoque too gets the company’s much-famed Terrain Response Management system, which works flawlessly in conjunction with the all-wheel-drive system of the SUV in tackling all kinds of surfaces. The ride quality is on the firmer side, but this surely makes driving the Evoque a sporty experience.
-
Land Rover Range Rover Evoque Engine & Fuel Consumption
There are three powertrain options in total for the Land Rover Range Rover Evoque. First is the 2.0-litre four-cylinder diesel engine shared with the Discovery Sport, which here makes 180 PS of power and 430 Nm of torque. Then, comes the 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine, which is being offered in two versions – the regular one which produces 250 PS of power and 365 Nm of torque, and the one with mild-hybrid technology which churns out 300 PS of power and 400 Nm of torque. All these engine options have an 8-speed automatic gearbox as the standard transmission option.
-
