A mixed bag among luxury SUVs
To me, a car isn’t an SUV unless sit has 7 seats. The Lexus GX seats seven people alright, but like most SUVs, the last row is a bit crammed. Taller persons will find it uncomfortable. Of course the last row isn’t used much in SUVs. The GX has tremendous off-road capability and has a great road presence. It’s solidly built, looks robust and is a great cruiser. But the powertrain is lethargic, and fuel economy isn’t good. There are better luxury SUVs but the Lexus GS has its own fan following.
