Lotus Evora Overview
Coming in hot from the British automaker’s production facilities is the Lotus Evora. It’s a vehicle that exudes a stunning yet practical charm in handling while on the road. All Evora models come with a 3.5-litre V6 engine that produces 345 to 410 horsepower (varies per variant).
It’s truly a stunning car that has the aura of class and sporty. There’s no denying that it may look like a Bat Mobile, but more than that, it looks like an absolute delight on thoroughfares.
The Lotus Evora has 9 variants available and these are the: 3.5L M/T, 3.5L SR, 3.5L Sport 410 A/T, 3.5L A/T, 3.5L S, Sports Racer 3.5L MT, 4.0L GT4, Sports Racer 3.5L AT and 3.5L Sport 410 M/T but only seven of them are actively marketed here in the Philippines.
It is dubbed by experts as one of the lightest Grand Tourer cars that’s in the market. The Evora actually is a statement that being the best car is not always about being fast but also about having fun while driving.

Lotus Evora Interior
Entering the Evora would give you a glance at its classic faux suede with the Sparco carbon-fibre front seats. The vehicle’s dashboard design doesn’t look much modernistic but it gives a certain spice as it mixes the physical switchgear with an eye-pleasing instrument cluster.
However, the Evora’s interior may also be customized via Lotus’ Exclusive program which allows owners to select non-standard paint colors and special leather upholstery.
It can also hold either two or four occupants with the option of having the vehicle be equipped with the optional rear seat, however, adults may find it a bit cramped inside. It might also not be friendly to tall people as the seat and steering don’t have enough adjustment.
Despite this setback, Lotus still did well on providing some best quality features to provide comfort and convenience to Evora’s passengers. Among these are Automatic Climate Control, Heater, Engine Start/Stop Button, Adjustable Seats, Height Adjustable Driver Seat, Electric Folding Rear View Mirror, Automatic Headlamps, Accessory Power Outlet, Power Steering, Multi-function Steering Wheel, Low Fuel Warning Light, Rear Seat Headrest, Cup Holders-Front, Cup Holders-Rear, Seat Lumbar Support, Bottle Holder, On-Board Computer and Keyless Entry.
One thing that just might pull you off a little bit about this car is the outdated infotainment system which still comprises Touch Screen, FM/AM/Radio, Bluetooth Connectivity, USB & Auxiliary Input, Speakers Front, Speakers Rear, Integrated 2DIN Audio and Voice Control.

Lotus Evora Verdict
This car can definitely be classified as a really amazing car. Despite its setbacks on the comfort and infotainment system, there is no wonder that there are some good things to highlight about it. One of them is the ease of driving and the fact that it may not be really that fast for a sports car, it is indeed fun to drive given its lightness.
When it comes to application though, this car might be better and more suitable for bachelors and millennials who don't have a family yet. Those who just usually go out for fun and those who just want to have a daily buddy for driving around the city. It may not just be ideal for you to have really long trips with this car given its reputation for cramped rear seats and seat space.
