Mercedes-Benz B-CLASS Overview
The Mercedes Benz B-Class is one of the most practical hatchbacks money can buy. Based on the platform of the smaller A-Class hatchback, the Mercedes Benz B-Class offers the stance and size of a conventional hatchback and the space and design of a five-seater MPV. This large hatchback from Mercedes Benz is available in a single variant called “Progressive Line”, which comes standard with a turbo-petrol-automatic powertrain.

Mercedes-Benz B-CLASS Interior
The cabin of the Mercedes-Benz B-Class looks very much familiar, as it shares a lot of layout with that of the A-Class. The cabin comes standard with dual-tone black and beige upholstery, which makes the already spacious cabin look even airier.
The leather-wrapped multi-functional steering wheel with silver inserts looks and feels good to hold, with the large fully digital cockpit behind it making the cabin look futuristic. This cockpit houses a 10.25-inch for full-TFT instrument console and a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which operates on the latest MBUX software.
The large rounded AC vents with a satin chrome finish and the sleek panel for automatic climate control switches exude top-class quality and appeal. The cabin of the Mercedes Benz B-Class is generously loaded with features like leather upholstery-powered front ARTICO seats with 4-way lumbar support and memory function, ambient lighting, and many more.

Mercedes-Benz B-CLASS Exterior
The new Mercedes-Benz B-Class in its current avatar looks much more premium than its previous iteration and has a rounded appeal to it which makes it look much better in person. The MPV-ish stance of the car with hatchback-like dimensions is a combination that is not to everyone’s taste, but since this is a Mercedes Benz, it has the word ‘premium’ written all over it.
At the front, the Mercedes-Benz B-Class has a hexagonal grille with rounded edges, which comes with a star-studded theme for the mesh pattern inside, a chrome line running across its width, and the large three-pointed star logo in the middle. The headlamps here have rounded edges too, with them being all-LED units with daytime running LEDs integrated into them.
Look at the Mercedes Benz B-Class from the side, and you will notice the MPV-ish stance with the sloping bonnet, tall height, lowered ground clearance, and tall wheels. This stance is perfectly complemented with 5-spoke star-themed 18-inch alloy wheels, which come standard with “Progressive Line” trim. The design looks quite simple with no sharp creases flowing sideways.
At the back, the Mercedes-Benz B-Class has got a rounded appeal with a windscreen which looks much raked than that in the previous model. The horizontally stretched LED tail lamps look wide and come with rounded edges. Like in other Mercedes Benz models, the B-Class also gets chrome surrounds for the exhaust ports and a thin chrome garnish running across the width of the rear bumper between the exhaust ports.

In addition, the car comes with a ‘dynamic select’ drive mode system, which offers four different settings on how the suspension of the car behaves on varying surfaces.

The engine is coupled to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox, which is offered as a standard transmission.

Mercedes-Benz B-CLASS Braking & Safety

Mercedes-Benz B-CLASS Verdict
The Mercedes Benz B-Class might not be too high on style and a fashion statement like its other siblings. However, for its stature and the kind of vehicle it is, it still manages to look good with its rounded and sleek design. The use of high-order technology in its interior and mechanicals make it every bit a modern generation car.
