Ride quality leaves much to be desired
The Nissan Leaf fails to justify its price. The ride quality of this vehicle leaves much to be desired. It has a punishingly rough ride quality transmitting from bumps harsh impacts directly to passengers. Over railroad tracks and rough roads, the Nissan Leaf feels unstable and shaky, similar to a much cheaper subcompact car. While with the Leaf you get the benefits of electric driving, it falls short of expectations at the price range at which it is being offered. To early EVs, it's a nostalgic nod but does not have the modern touches expected in a high-end vehicle.
