Pesky CVT gearbox, high seating position
The seating position of the Omoda C5 is too high and I find it difficult to adjust the seat height sufficiently, so if you’re a taller driver like me you may feel a bit cramped. However, if you're someone of average height you may not experience any kind of discomfort while driving this vehicle. Another loophole is the programming of the CVT gearbox is not up to standard due to which especially while driving in the city this vehicle doesn't inspire confidence. If you’re ready to live with that pesky CVT gearbox then only you should buy the Omoda C5.
