The front, back, and side of the Macan is typically a Porsche. The car has a sporty accent with a sleek and muscular build. The car is available in ten different colours with the Black and Night Blue Metallic being strikingly attractive. 

The design is curvaceous and there’s a strong resemblance to the 911 silhouette. The car features integrated headlights with four-point LED daytime running lights, and the noticeably large and imposing air intakes in the front add to the stance of the car. The stretched hood smoothly flows onto the wheel arches with the roofline slopes going down the back. What is known as the “Porsche flyline” the Macan also features the customary sports car profile. 

The electromechanical steering is a key highlight and offers a great driving experience being very weighty and responsive. The suspension tuning is sporty making for comfortable drives with the car being very stable at corners and at high speeds. There is a great degree of neutrality and balance and the rear-biased all-wheel-drive system enables increased driving dynamics and stability. 

The car is designed to send power in an infinite split to the set of wheels that needs it the most. The mixed tires work to offer excellent traction and agility. The dedicated Off-Road mode can recalibrate the drivetrain (throttle, gearbox, torque split) to maximize traction for specific road conditions. 

The Macan comes with 4 different engine variants. Let us take a look at how each of the powertrains performs on the road. The Macan 2.0T is powered by a 1984cc 4-cylinder petrol engine that makes 252 hp of power and 370 Nm of torque. Another variant, the 2967cc 6-cylinder Diesel engine on the S Diesel, produces 245 hp of power and 580 Nm of torque. A similar 2997cc 6-cylinder petrol engine makes 360 hp of power and 500 Nm of torque. 

The more powerful Turbo comes with a 3604cc 6-cylinder petrol engine that can generate powers of up to 400 hp and 550 Nm of peak torque. The powertrain is mated to a specially engineered 7-Speed Automatic transmission gearbox.

It can propel its way from 0-100 kmph in under 5.2 seconds while reaching speeds of 251 kmph for the former and 4.6 seconds and 264 kmph for the latter. 

The Macan comes with very able braking that can bring the vehicle to a stop in a very efficient manner. The Macan quite expectedly does not miss out on any standard safety feature and comes with front and side airbags in the cabin, Passenger Airbags, Child Safety Locks, Anti-Lock Braking System, Brake Assist, EBD, Vehicle Stability Control System, Parking Sensors, Crash Sensor, Front, and Side Impact Beams, and Traction Control. The only glaring miss is the Cruise Control feature on the Macan.
