In April 2024, Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) launched a new version of the Corolla Cross. This update boasts an all-new exclusively hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) lineup – doing away with the gasoline-only models that were the mainstay in the Philippine market. The new 2024 Toyota Corolla Cross is a compact crossover SUV that offers more cargo space and ground clearance, making it a good option for drivers who want a versatile and fuel-efficient vehicle.
There are currently three main variants of the Toyota Corolla Cross 2024 available in the Philippine market, all featuring a hybrid powertrain:
- 1.8 Hybrid G CVT – This is the base variant with all the standard features, with the price point starting at 1,498,000 PHP.
- 1.8 Hybrid V CVT – This is the mid-range variant with additional features that are a step up from the base variant; with a price-point starting at 1,763,000 PHP.
- 1.8 Hybrid GR-S CVT – This is the top-of-the-line variant, with a sportier look and different wheels and body kit. It also comes with all the features of the V variant, plus some extra features that only top-of-the-line models can deliver. Its price point starts at 1,917,000 PHP.
All models of the Corolla Cross currently available on the Philippine market are CVT automatic and do not offer an option for manual transmission.
