A disappointing experiment from Toyota
Toyota’s premium cars have always been a runaway success in Philippine market, keeping the brand image in mind I purchased the Toyota Yaris and I feel that the Toyota placed the Yaris in the line up just for the sake of formality, trying to somehow level the competition in the segment. Other subcompacts in the segment offer a more pleasant and rewarding drive. The fuel economy is efficient with a low operating cost but that’s the end of good news. If Toyota wants to sustain this model, there is a lot to be worked upon.
