For a middleweight motorcycle, the CF Moto 650 NK has got a good road presence and stance, thanks to its modern design language and muscular stance, which has its own distinctive personality. However, there is very little to differentiate its styling with the smaller 400 NK, which might turn off some people.

The front fascia of the CF Moto 650 NK is majorly covered by an aggressive-looking headlamp cluster, which is divided into two parts, both of which are full-LED units and get a characteristic daytime running LED in between. The headlamp is accompanied by two sharp-looking panels on either side, which acts as the main cowl for the headlamp. The upper corners of the headlamp have LED turn indicators mounted on them, which complete the front look of the motorcycle.

The best angle to look at the CF Moto 650 NK is from the side, where the motorcycle exhibits its true muscular profile. The majority of the muscle of the CF Moto 650 NK lies in its fuel tank, which looks long and beefy, and has curved fuel tank extensions with pointy ends. The engine, which is finished in a golden theme, is surrounded by the grey finished frame towards its back and a small engine cowl at its bottom. There are a couple of cool looking bits here on the side profile of the motorcycle, in the form of star-shaped five-spoke alloy wheels and a stubby exhaust pipe.

The CF Moto 650 NK comes with a short and angular tailpiece, which sports the split seat theme and has a very long rear fender mounted at its back. The fender also has the turn indicators mounted on it, thus completing the look of the motorcycle from the rear.

Another major highlight of the CF Moto 650 NK which positions itself as a fresh and new age motorcycle is its 5-inch full TFT colored instrument console. This unit has all sorts of information on board, ranging from the speedometer, tachometer, fuel gauge, temperature gauge, odometer, trip meters, clock and gear indicator.

The CF Moto 650 NK has got a good and sportily tuned suspension setup of KYB hydraulic telescopic forks at the front and side aligned KYB mono-shock at the rear. The ride quality is on a stiffer side, especially over broken patches of roads, but this, in turn, gives a good planted riding experience with good levels of stability. The braking duties in the CF Moto 650 NK are taken care of by dual petal disc brakes at the front and a single petal disc brake at the rear.

The CF Moto 650 NK shares its four-stroke, inline twin, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected 649cc engine with its other two stable mates, the 650 MT and 650 GT. Here in the CF Moto 650 NK, the engine is paired to a 6-speed gearbox and breathes out a maximum power output of 61 PS and a peak torque output of 56 Nm.

While the CF Moto 650 NK packs in good modern convenience features, the motorcycle falls short on safety features. For a middleweight motorcycle, the CF Moto 650 NK feels a bit underequipped with only a dual-channel ABS as well as assist and slipper clutch on offer, and no other prominent electronic riding aid.

Barring the lack of modern electronic riding aids, the CF Moto 650 NK is one feature-rich motorcycle which appeals highly with its sporty styling and equally sporty performance. For new riders too, the CF Moto 650 NK is friendly enough to make new riders feel at home with its comfortable riding ergonomics and torquey mid-range performance.
