I recently got the chance to try out my cousin's Hatasu Kumi. I wanted to scoot around the entire city on it but as soon as I encountered some gain in elevation I realized that it was not a viable choice. In hilly areas, the acceleration of the Kumi noticeably weakened. At steep slopes, I had to dismount this e-bike and walk with it. The back seat is also not that useful as it already struggles if you’re driving alone. The kickstart makes it convenient to rest this e-scooter. The ride quality of the Kumi is what you can expect from a scooter having 14-inch-by-2.5-inch wheels.
