Way too powerful for its frame

I had nearly purchased the Honda Rebel 1100 but after the test ride, I had to back out. Initially, I absolutely loved it and fell in love with its look but it lacks the riding pleasure I expected it to offer. For the frame, it is too powerful. I found it to be downright unsettling and twitchy while riding. The entire package seemed to be a missed chance for Honda to come up with a more balanced parallel 750cc twin or V-twin. The entire package seems to be odd making it difficult to understand what it really wants to achieve. It certainly fails to live up to the standard of excellence or hype.
