Underbone bikes are usually perceived to be basic in visual appeal. However, that’s not the case with the Honda Supra GTR 150. This trendy-looking underbone bike from Honda has an edgy design language, which puts it in the league of sportily styled scooters of a similar size and price.

The front profile of the Honda Supra GTR 150 has got a compact and rakish front apron, the sides of which come integrated with slim-looking clear lens blinkers. This apron has a dual-tone treatment with a large Y-shaped panel ending up with a small triangular air vent at the lower tip of the front apron. The handlebar cowl looks equally sporty and sharp and houses the large and aggressive-looking all-LED headlamp.

While the Honda Supra GTR 150 has a rather conventional-looking side profile, the Z-shaped side parts of the front aprons flowing down to the floorboard come with sporty-looking body decals. The engine and the long exhaust pipe popping out of it are blacked out here, with the latter getting a premium-looking silver-coloured tip at its end. An engine cowl is neatly integrated with the side body cowls. The Honda Supra GTR 150 gets a nicely contoured long-piece seat with a stepped effect.

At the back, the Honda Supra GTR 150 comes with a large tail lamp surrounded by X-themed black plastic panels. The underbone bike gets motorcycle-like mounted turn indicators just below the tail lamp assembly. The Honda Supra GTR 150 gets faux carbon fibre like touches on the rear fender and around the instrument console. Speaking about the instrument console, it is a fully digital unit divided into two parts. The main housing on the right reads out speed, engine rpm, gear indicator, odometer, and trip meters, whereas the triangular display to its left shows the fuel level of the bike. Given its premium positioning over other underbone bikes, the Honda Supra GTR 150 exudes quality of the highest order in the segment.

The Honda Supra GTR 150 gets the best mechanical hardware that an underbone bike can get in the current market dynamics. This premium bike gets conventional hydraulic telescopic forks at the front and a rectangular swingarm with a mono-shock at the back. The suspension has been tuned sportily for a spirited riding experience, which comes at a smaller compromise of ride quality. Adding drama to its sharp handling characteristics are the large motorcycle-like 17-inch wheels shod with meaty tyres. The bike comes equipped with disc brakes at both ends.

The engine powering the Honda Supra GTR 150 is a tried and tested four-stroke, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, 150cc engine. The engine is paired to a 6-speed gearbox, with its maximum power and torque outputs rated at 16 bhp and 14.2 Nm respectively. Being a powertrain coming from the house of Honda, expect top-class refinement levels from the engine.

Underbone bikes are usually designed with low-speed urban riding and costs in mind, which is why they skip out on major safety features. The Honda Supra GTR 150 also doesn’t get any noteworthy safety feature, apart from a shutter mechanism for its ignition keyhole.

For a bike of its price, the Honda Supra GTR 150 still misses out on some crucial features, but anyways, it is the most premium offering one can buy in the underbone bike segment. The premium build quality and best-in-class fit and finish levels and mechanicals make the Honda Supra GTR 150 a well-built machine.
