This sporty commuter is one of Honda’s entry into the underbone segment. Wave 110 is known for its practicality and efficient handling. At its heart, the Wave 110 is powered by a 110cc air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that makes 8 hp of power and 9 Nm of torque. The engine is paired to a 4-speed rotary transmission. Suspension setup includes telescopic forks at the front and twin shock absorbers on the rear. The Honda Wave 110 is sold in two variants in the Philippine market – the Drum type which is available at Php 56,900 and the Disc type that is available at Php 60,900.

Honda Wave110 Overview
The Honda Wave 110 is one of the most affordable products from the Japanese two-wheeler giant in the Philippines two-wheeler market. This cub-class underbone bike is primarily introduced only for budget-oriented people who want a basic means of transport or commute from one place to another within a city or town. In the Philippines, the Honda Wave 110 is offered in two variants – front drum brake and front disc brake. While the drum brake variant is offered in four colour options – Candy Energy Orange, Lemon Ice Yellow, Pearl Magellanic Black, and Matte Summit Silver, the disc brake variant is offered with two colour options - Matte Fiery Red and Matte Axis Grey.

The Honda Wave 110 is one of those budget-oriented products which puts function as a priority higher than form. The bland looks of this underbone cub-class bike might not impress many of you, but the size and dimensions are perfect for an entry-level commuter.
At the front, the Honda Wave 110 has a simple-looking front apron, which looks compact and has a Y-shaped panel in the middle of it. The headlamp cowl also looks equally plain with a trapezoidal halogen headlamp in the middle and clear lens rhombical turn indicators on its sides. Like a traditional cub-class bike, the Honda Wave 110 has a tall-set front fender over the large front wheel.
Move towards the side, the Honda Wave 110 has a plain looking profile with sleek looking panels below the long seat and side panels in the back of the front apron. This back panel hides the central tunnel, which covers the underbody-mounted engine partially. The engine is finished in a theme of black, while the spoke wheels and shield over the long exhaust pipe flowing sideways get chrome treatment.
The Honda Wave 110 carries the simpleton look even at the rear, where the cub-class bike gets a compact tail lamp. This tail lamp unit also comes integrated with clear lens turn indicators within itself and sits at the top of the rear fender. Above the tail lamp cluster, you get a wide and single-unit pillion grab rail behind the long seat.
The functional appeal of the Honda Wave 110 is evident in the layout of the fully-analogue instrument console. This unit looks a tad too simple and packs only the essentials in the form of a speedometer, fuel gauge and odometer. Even the switchgear looks simple for a modern-day bike. However, Honda has not compromised on the fit and finish levels of the panels and switches at all.

The Honda Wave 110 gets a very basic chassis, consisting of a suspension setup of conventional hydraulic telescopic forks at the front and double-sided hydraulic coil springs at the back. Riding on 70/90-17 front tyre and 80/90-17 rear tyre, the Honda Wave 110 comes fitted with drum brakes at both ends as standard. However, there is an option of a front disc brake, which comes at a premium.
