Indian Scout Sixty Overview
The Indian Scout Sixty is the brand's most affordable motorcycle available in the Philippines. This motorbike, which is based on the bigger Scout cruiser, is designed for riders who want the Scout's timeless appeal with a smaller and kinder engine. Let's examine the Scout Sixty's advantages and disadvantages now that it is available in Black Metallic and Storm Blue.

Indian Scout Sixty Design
The normal Scout cruiser, the elder sibling of the Indian Scout Sixty, is where the appealing vintage aesthetic comes from. A practical round halogen headlamp with a chrome housing is mounted on the front fascia, which is also home to two orange turn indicators. The front fender has a modern, curved design that is reminiscent of the Scout's more potent counterpart.
Behind a sloping gasoline tank emblazoned with a 3D Indian insignia, the Scout Sixty exhibits a wide radiator between the front wheel and V-twin engine. The bike's appeal is increased by its low-set single seat and two vertically stacked exhaust pipes coated in chrome. The Scout Sixty has a single-seat option, but riders can add a pillion seat above the curved rear fender if they like.
The rear profile has a curved fender containing rounded indicators with chrome housings and oval LED tail lamps that are vertically aligned. The wide handlebar features premium switches, levers with a silver finish, and rearview mirrors with a chrome finish. The single-pod spherical instrument console has an LCD monitor that shows the fuel level, odometer, and trip metres in addition to an analogue speedometer. The cruiser riding experience is completed by footpegs that are set forward.

Indian Scout Sixty Ride & Handling
The Indian Scout Sixty shares its mechanical setup with the larger Scout. A 41mm telescopic fork with 120mm travel at the front and an adjustable mono-shock with 76mm travel at the rear provide suspension. Braking duties are handled by a single 298mm disc at both ends. The 16-inch alloy wheels are shod with tubeless Pirelli tires, ensuring stability and excellent grip even at high speeds.
-
Indian Scout Sixty Engine & Fuel Consumption
The Indian Scout Sixty's defining characteristic is its smaller and less powerful engine compared to the standard Scout cruiser. The 60 cubic-inches, four-stroke, V-twin, liquid-cooled, 1000cc engine generates 78 bhp and 88 Nm of torque, 17 hp and 9 Nm less than the larger Scout. Despite the smaller displacement, the Scout Sixty delivers ample torque for urban and highway riding. A 6-speed gearbox manages the transmission.
-
Indian Scout Sixty Braking & Safety
Apart from ABS, the Indian Scout Sixty lacks any other significant safety features, which is disappointing considering its premium pricing.
-
Indian Scout Sixty Verdict
The Indian Scout Sixty is not for those seeking a feature-rich motorcycle but rather appeals to purists who appreciate the timeless allure of traditional cruisers with a touch of modernity. With its torquey engine and composed ride, the Scout Sixty is ideal for relaxed highway cruising.
