The Kawasaki W175 is similar in aspects of designing to its ancestral siblings in the "W" model lineup. Since the release of the first model introduced by the Japanese Automaker in the year 1966, the Kawasaki has been rich in heritage in terms of design and appeal. Kawasaki's never fails to surprise its consumers with unique styling and sculpture in the whole motorcycle segment. 

The sculpting of Kawasaki W175 is super smooth and no rider can find out any single unit of brashness in the motorcycle. The front part is dominated by round headlamps and one thing that doesn't go unnoticed is straight seats. Moreover, the spoke-wheels complete the retro-look of the motorcycle in every possible way with zero hints of modernization. 

The overall design is well-sculpted and smoothly contoured with rear-view mirrors that deliver around appeal and also match the front headlamps. Moreover, the old school odometer contributes to the retro-character of the motorcycle.

In terms of ride and handling, the Kawasaki W175 has been specifically designed to make sure that the riders have a wonderful riding experience. The motorcycle mainly focuses on comfort and desirability that improves its riding quality. The Kawasaki W175 derives its power from the 177cc engine that is air-cooled and also has a single-cylinder setup. The 177cc engine of this motorcycle churns out a power output of 13.05 hp at 7,500 rpm along with a peak torque of 13.2 Nm at 6000 rpm. So, it is very clear that the engine type of Kawasaki W175 doesn't need various revolutions to deliver peak power and torque output.

Moreover, smoother and convenient rides are ensured by the five-speed gearbox that offers better performance with up and downshifts with fewer jolts. The engine has no vibrations even at higher speeds given its bodyweight that is kept minimum.

The Kawasaki W175 doesn't top the sales chart in terms of performance and similar is the case with safety features. It is not among those motorcycles that require ABS or Anti-lock braking system or thick sticky tires. The front disc brakes and drum brakes at the rear the primary braking features of this motorcycle. 

Some of the other braking features include a pass light switch that is of greater convenience when passing through dark areas. The rider needs to be cautious at higher speeds when riding this motorcycle as it lacks a backrest or grab rail for the pillion rider and that turns out to be a bit risky.

The Kawasaki W175 has been always popular for its retro-styling and unique appearance that is preferred by almost all kinds of riders. There is no such rival for this motorcycle in its segment but even in terms of performance, it doesn't outperform any other model within the same price range or same engine configurations. It is surely a better alternative for the Kawasaki FZi or TFX 150 models.
