Keeway Hyperbrusco 175 Overview
The Keeway Hyperbrusco 175 is the top-of-the-line model in the commuter lineup from the Chinese two-wheeler manufacturer. This basic-looking and basic-specced motorcycle is aimed at those who want a no-nonsense motorcycle for their heavy-duty commutes. The Keeway Hyperbrusco 175 is available in a single variant in the Philippines two-wheeler market, which can be had in one of the three colour options of red, black and blue.

Keeway Hyperbrusco 175 Design
The Keeway Hyperbrusco 175 looks like a motorcycle that belongs to the bygone decades. The too utilitarian design helps it to make us believe that it is a hardcore simpleton commuter. However, the design looks too basic and does not belong to the modern era.
At the front, the Keeway Hyperbrusco 175 comes with a simple rounded halogen headlamp, which is present inside a large looking cowl. This dual-tone cowl also integrates the black tinted visor above the headlamp and comes attached with amber turn indicators on either side. Like any other entry-level commuter, the Keeway Hyperbrusco 175 also comes with a chrome-finished front fender and rubber gaiters for the front telescopic forks.
From the side too, the Keeway Hyperbrusco 175 looks very basic, though the fuel tank with a tapered upper surface and flat sides and the trapezoidal side body panels come with some decent looking body graphics. While the spoke wheels of the motorcycle have the traditional steel-plated finish, the engine as well as the single exhaust pipe, along with the shield over it, are given an all-black theme.
There is nothing much to talk about the design of the Keeway Hyperbrusco 175 towards the rear. The motorcycle doesn’t get any rear side body panels below the chunky looking flat and long seat. Instead, the motorcycle gets a long tubular pillion grab rail, which can also serve as a luggage carrier if needed. At the top of the rear fender, the Keeway Hyperbrusco 175 gets a simple-looking halogen setup of tail lamp and turn indicators on its sides.
The Keeway Hyperbrusco 175 is a typical commuter motorcycle when you see its rider’s cockpit. You get a wide handlebar, which is placed slightly upwards to give you an upright riding posture. The instrument console of the motorcycle is a simple affair too, with the unit getting an all analogue layout for the speedometer, odometer, fuel gauge, trip meters and tachometer. The fit and finish levels of the Keeway Hyperbrusco 175 leave a lot to be desired, which is a limitation owing to its affordable pricing.

Keeway Hyperbrusco 175 Ride & Handling
The simplicity of the Keeway Hyperbrusco 175 is very evident in its mechanical setup as well. The motorcycle has got a very basic suspension setup of telescopic forks with 110mm travel at the front and hydraulic coil springs with suspension travel of 55mm at the rear. Even the 2.75-17 front and 3.00 rear tyres and drum brakes at both ends make the motorcycle look cheap and low rent. The drum brakes do not prove sufficient to bring the motorcycle to a halt at times.

Keeway Hyperbrusco 175 Engine & Fuel Consumption
The Keeway Hyperbrusco 175 sources its power from a four-stroke, single-cylinder, air-cooled, 2-valve, 175.1cc engine, which is one of the biggest engines in the commuter segment of the Philippines two-wheeler market. The engine is paired to a 5-speed gearbox and churns out a maximum power output of 12.2 PS and a maximum torque output of 13.9 Nm.
-
Keeway Hyperbrusco 175 Braking & Safety
The Keeway Hyperbrusco 175 is a cheap and cost-effective commuter motorcycle, and to keep the costs down, the two-wheeler maker has not equipped the motorcycle with any of the modern safety features, which in our opinion is a miss.

Keeway Hyperbrusco 175 Verdict
The Keeway Hyperbrusco 175 is not a motorcycle for you if you are someone who loves his motorcycle to be a trendy, well-equipped and mechanically sound product. The motorcycle is very basic in every sense – looks, list of features (or the lack of it), performance and riding dynamics. The very basic architecture of the motorcycle helps it to remain low-priced for its target audience.
