Moto Morini Milano Overview
The Moto Morini Milano is one of the biggest capacity motorcycles available from this niche Italian bike maker in the Philippines. With its quintessential retro design with modern features and elements, the Moto Morini Milano is one simple but premium motorcycle. This café-racer –cum-roadster is available in the Philippines in a single variant, which can be had in either blue or red colour option.

Moto Morini Milano Design
There is a certain charm in the overall design of the Moto Morini Milano. While it is not as groundbreaking as a usual Italian motorcycle, its retro design theme is pleasant to the eyes. However, the compact dimensions of the Moto Morini Milano make it look a bit dwarfed for a 1200cc motorcycle, which makes its road presence not so strong.
At the front, the Moto Morini Milano gets a normal-looking round halogen headlamp encased in a silver finished round casing. It lacks the modern-day LED illumination and even misses out on a basic daytime running LED, which has become a norm even in much smaller capacity motorcycles. However, the slim turn indicators flanking the round headlamp are LED units, while a short tinted visor serves as a top hot to the headlamp. The slim and chopped style front fender of the Moto Morini Milano gives it a custom bike appeal when viewed head-on.
The best angle to look at the Moto Morini Milano certainly is the side profile. There is a balanced mix of design cues of a café racer and a conventional roadster. While the long and chiseled fuel tank, handlebar-end mounted round rearview mirrors and long single-piece humped seat gives it an impression of a café racer, the high mounted handlebar, and mildly rear-set footpegs make up for a combination of ergonomics of a naked roadster. The motorcycle comes with a swooping design for the emission tailpipes, which end up in single-sided vertically stacked dual exhaust pipes.
The rear profile of the Moto Morini Milano looks pretty basic, with a very slim tailpiece ending up in a tiny LED tail lamp, which looks as if it is tucked in between the curves of the tailpiece. The LED turn indicators and license plate are mounted on a small tyre hugger over the rear tyre. The motorcycle also comes with small tubular grab rails mounted on either side below the tailpiece.
The only futuristic-looking element in the overall design of the Moto Morini Milano happens to be the 5-inch full TFT instrument console. The unit has three different display modes, all of which show all the necessary information on the go, including speedometer, tachometer, fuel gauge, temperature gauge, clock, gear indicator, and a comprehensive MID. For a premium 1200cc motorcycle, the fit and finish levels of the Moto Morini Milano are just about perfect.

Moto Morini Milano Ride & Handling
The Moto Morini Milano is a sporty motorcycle to ride and handle, which is pretty evident from the way its chassis has been tuned. The suspension combination of Moto Morini Milano has 46mm upside-down hydraulic telescopic forks fully adjustable in preload, damping in compression and rebound at the front and mono-shock with progressive link to the swingarm, fully adjustable in preload, height, damping, and rebound at the rear. The braking system employed on the motorcycle includes dual 320mm discs at the front and a single 220mm disc at the rear.

Moto Morini Milano Engine & Fuel Consumption
The Moto Morini Milano has been fitted with a four-stroke, liquid-cooled, 87-degree V-twin 1187cc engine, which is a one-of-a-kind engine of its segment. This engine, which is mated to a 6-speed gearbox, makes 114.5 bhp of maximum power and 108 Nm of torque. The engine has enough grunt at low and mid-range, which makes it a quick motorcycle to ride in tight urban conditions.

Moto Morini Milano Braking & Safety
When it comes to electronics, the Moto Morini Milano only gets a dual-channel ABS, and nothing else, which makes it feel pretty basic for a high-end 1200cc motorcycle.

Moto Morini Milano Verdict
The Moto Morini Milano might lack the snob value of a premium high-capacity motorcycle and misses out on a number of modern features. However, for a premium retro roadster, the Moto Morini Milano has got a great design, which though missing out on visual bulk, still feels very much likable.
