The MV Agusta RVS is a high-performance sports motorcycle manufactured in Italy. The bike is hauled by a 3-cylinder, 4-stroke, liquid-cooled, 798cc engine which produces 148 PS maximum power at 12,300 rpm and 88 Nm peak torque at 10,100 rpm. The motor is mated to a 6-speed transmission. Major features of the bike include Bosch antilock braking, 4-map torque control, pass switch, engine check warning, Road and race riding modes, 8-level traction control, and adjustable round Cyclops headlights. The motorcycle runs on 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped in Pirelli tires with disc brakes at both ends. MV Agusta RVS is available in a single version.

MV Agusta RVS Overview
The MV Agusta RVS #1 is an exclusive, limited-edition motorcycle which has been designed by MV Agusta in collaboration with Castiglioni Research Centre. Based on the Brutale Dragster 800, the MV Agusta RVS #1 is the first motorcycle to come out of the brand’s RVS (Reparto Veicoli Speciali) division of ultra-exclusive, limited-edition motorcycles. Limited to just 95 units, the MV Agusta RVS #1 is solely offered in a shade of black.

MV Agusta RVS Design
The MV Agusta RVS #1 looks much inspired by the brand’s Brutale Dragster 800, as it is a motorcycle based on it. However, the RVS division of MV Agusta has done a commendable job by giving it a significant makeover with slightly redesigned components made of carbon fibre and other exclusive materials.
The front profile of the MV Agusta RVS #1 has a large rounded headlamp, which features all-LED illumination and daytime running LEDs while being positioned lower. The front mudguard, which is made of carbon fibre here, has a stubby design, which goes well with the rest of the minimalist design of the motorcycle.
Coming to the side profile, the MV Agusta RVS #1 retains the fuel tank from the Brutale Dragster 800. However, it does come with a new livery and carbon fibre inserts on the frontal part of it. Beneath the fuel tank, one can see the trellis frame and the inline-three engine, finished in a theme of black, in its wholesome glory.
The side profile looks even more extreme with minimal but busy-looking panels on the sides of the vertically-aligned radiator and tail section. Unlike the Brutale Dragster 800, which has a triple-pipe exhaust setup, the MV Agusta RVS #1 has a single SC-Project titanium exhaust. Further exclusivity of the motorcycle is assured by the presence of spoke wheels of high-order quality.
The MV Agusta RVS #1 has a very minimal approach in the design of the rear profile, with much of the design concentrated on the floating, stubby tail section. Here, the MV Agusta RVS #1 has a compact floating seat placed over the tail section, which ends up with twin LED tail lamps on the side edges at the back of the panel. Meanwhile, the MV Agusta RVS #1 gets a functional rear tyre hugger, which also comes mounted with LED turn indicators.
The MV Agusta RVS #1 also has more carbon-fibre and weight-saving elements all around, while also getting a compact 5-inch TFT instrument console which reads out a lot of information, including the riding data while on the go.

Besides having a lot of weight-saving measures over the standard Brutale Dragster 800, the MV Agusta RVS #1 shares its entire chassis setup with the former. All the weight-saving measures result in a drop of ten kilos in the overall kerb weight of the motorcycle, which is now rated at 150 kg.
The components shared by the MV Agusta RVS #1 with the Brutale Dragster 800 include the ALS steel trellis frame and suspension combination comprising of Marzocchi inverted telescopic hydraulic fork with DLC treatment and anodized fork legs at the front and Progressive, Sachs single shock absorber at the rear, with both of them having rebound and compression damping and spring preload adjustment. The tyres – 120/70 ZR17 front and 200/55 ZR17 rear, and the brakes – dual 320mm discs at the front and a single 220mm disc at the rear, also come from the Brutale Dragster 800.

The MV Agusta RVS #1 shares its engine with the Brutale Dragster 800 – a liquid-cooled, inline-three, 798cc engine, which is paired with a 6-speed gearbox and is capable of producing a maximum power output of 152 PS – almost 10 PS more than the standard Brutale Dragster 800. Meanwhile, the torque output is limited to 87 Nm.
