Pathetic build quality, very unreliable
The Royal Enfield Scram 411 is a pathetic bike. In the first eight months of ownership, I was literally heartbroken. The rear brake started binding, the horn stopped working and it stalls on its own. Despite being garaged/treated and ridden in summer rust has set in. The bike has thrown up three engine warning lights and a mounting tab was sheered by the sump guard. I have mostly ridden it on city roads and clocked 1800 miles altogether but my experience has not at all been good.
