Suzuki GD 110 Design
One look at the Suzuki GD 110, and you will immediately realise that the motorcycle has been designed and built to meet a cost restraint. The Suzuki GD 110 is bare bones to start with, with almost negligible amount of modernity and desirability in terms of the way it looks.
The simplistic approach of the Suzuki GD 110 starts from the front itself, with a small rounded headlamp, which in a traditional manner, gets a chrome surround for the housing in which it is placed. The amber turn indicators flanking the main headlamp are fairly large in size. The front fender above the front wheel is large and is finished in the body colour of black shade.
The side profile of the Suzuki GD 110 too is bland in appearance. The simplistic approach of the motorcycle is pretty evident with the spoked wheels, grey finish for the engine, and absence of any kind of body graphics, thus making it look basic to the core.
The Suzuki GD 110 comes with a long fuel tank, which is devoid of any cuts, creases, or noteworthy recesses which could have made it a better-looking unit. The side body cowls are quite large in size and do match the fuel tank in proportion. The single-piece seat on the motorcycle is long and is very large in size, which is big enough for two full-sized adults with complete ease.
The rear side body panels of the Suzuki GD 110 are also designed simplistically, which end up in a small tail lamp that houses well within the end of the rear side body panels. Here too, the simple rear fender having the amber-colored turn indicators mounted on it and chrome finished tubular pillion grab rail mounted behind the seat accentuates its utilitarian appeal.
The instrument console of the Suzuki GD 110 consists of two big analog pods, one each for speedometer and fuel gauge, with an odometer placed in the housing for the latter. The switchgear looks basic, but nowhere Suzuki has compromised with the quality of the components and fitting of them.

Suzuki GD 110 Ride & Handling
Matching the bare-bones appeal of the Suzuki GD 110’s visual appearance, the mechanicals of the motorcycle too speak simplicity. The Suzuki GD 110 has been fitted with simple in construction combination of hydraulic telescopic forks at the front and coil springs at the rear, which are tough enough to absorb all kinds of rough stuff on the roads and loads on the motorcycle. The bare basic drum brakes are there for performing stopping duties.

Suzuki GD 110 Engine & Fuel Consumption
The Suzuki GD 110 has been fitted with a simple in structure four stroke, single cylinder, air-cooled, carbureted, 112.8cc engine. This engine can be started with a kick starter only (there is no electric starter too!) and is coupled to a 4-speed gearbox. The engine produces a maximum power output of 8.2 PS, while the peak torque output is rated at 8.53 Nm. The engine feels lively here, and offers good refinement levels and low end torque.

Suzuki GD 110 Braking & Safety
Given its basic packaging and cost-cutting attempts, the Suzuki GD 110 misses out on any noteworthy safety feature, which is a given thing in a motorcycle of its segment, which targets to budget-oriented buyers.

Suzuki GD 110 Verdict
The Suzuki GD 110 lacks any kind of desirability one expects from a motorcycle of the modern era. The overall styling is a tad too basic, and the lack of features deters its appeal further. What it ensures is top-notch hardware, including a potent and torquey engine and supple suspension system, which have been engineered to take the maximum possible amount of abuses thrown at it, making it a hardcore motorcycle for commutes and load carrying.
