The Suzuki Raider J Crossover is one of those youthful looking underbone bikes, which have a pinch of boldness in the way they look. The overall design of the bike looks sporty, with a good mix of colours and graphics further enhancing its visual appeal.

At the front, the Suzuki Raider J Crossover has got a sporty looking fascia with a simple halogen headlamp surrounded by a wide and well-sculpted cowl. This cowl is inspired by the fascia of motocross motorcycles from Suzuki, thus giving it a pleasant appeal at the front. Just below the headlamp cowl, the Suzuki Raider J Crossover gets a long and beak-shaped front fender, which has sharp-looking lines and edges.

The side profile of the Suzuki Raider J Crossover has simply designed body panels. However, to add some boldness to the look here, the bike gets big decals and logon on the side panels. The bike rides on 17-inch spoke wheels with tube-type tyres at both ends. For an entry-level bike, the Suzuki Raider J Crossover gets a disc brake at the front, which is appreciable, while at the rear, there is a functional drum brake.

The Suzuki Raider J Crossover gets a tried and tested four-stroke, single-cylinder, air-cooled, 113cc engine, which is one of the most fuel-efficient engines in this class of bikes. The maximum power and torque outputs of the Suzuki Raider J Crossover are rated at 9.24 bhp and 9 Nm. For an entry-level engine, the figures look decent, but the bike lacks power output at higher RPMs. For the transmission duties, the unit on duty is a 4-speed gearbox.

The Suzuki Raider J Crossover lacks modern safety features and doesn’t get much of them, for it belongs to a very price-sensitive segment.

The flashy and sporty design language of the Suzuki Raider J Crossover might be able to pull some of the attraction of youngsters towards it. However, it is not as energetic in its performance as the way it looks. Under the skin, it is a humble entry-level commuter meant for basic commuting from point A to point B and is very efficient in doing this.
